Foam Fire Extinguisher

Portable foam extinguishers are suitable for both Class A & B fires. Foam has the ability to reduce the risk of reignition. Foam extinguishers combine the smothering effect of AFFF and the cooling and penetrating effect of water.

Film-Forming Fluoroprotein (FFFP) foam type fire extinguisher

Film-Forming Fluoroprotein (FFFP) foam provide highly efficient Class A and B extinguishing capabilities, it is also an effective fire preventing vapor barrier when applied to volatile chemical spills. FFFP foam is an alcohol resistant fire fighting agent designed to extinguish a variety of materials including alcohols, polar solvents, and hydrocarbons These extinguishers contain a special potassium acetate based, low PH extinguishing agent developed for use in pre-engineered restaurant kitchen systems. The recent trend to more efficient cooking appliances and use of unsaturated cooking oils requires the use of a hand portable fire extinguisher with greater fire fighting capacity and cooling effect to combat these very difficult fire.
